This project was a 6,000 sf addition & renovation project to the WestRock containerboard manufacturing facility in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The modifications were to accommodate new automated material handling equipment. The work required detailed coordination with the equipment manufacturer, as well as complex construction phasing to minimize loss of production

Chattem Sanofi Pharmacy Grade Production Facility
This 90,000 square foot facility includes production lines, locker/dressing areas, lunch room and raw product processing rooms for pharmacy grade products.
Chattem-Sanofi Weigh Dose Pharmacy Grade Production Facility
This project was a 53,000 square foot addition inside an existing building which required clean room isolation of the construction area where similar products were being processed nearby. It included production lines, locker/dressing areas, laboratory/testing rooms, offices, and raw product processing areas for pharmacy grade products. Most of the existing concrete floors were polished rather than adding another coating.

DHW served as Project Manager for this 42,000 square foot facility at the water source in the Blue Ridge mountains. In addition to traditional design services we assisted in site selection and procurement of equipment, developed bid packages for equipment, site work. sewer system, two building packages and interior office furnishings. We also negotiated with nearby neighbors extending then connecting them to a public sewer system.
